We had the pleasure of staying at Mount Knysna in August. Everything about this place was wonderful. The views are beyond compare. It’s hard not to keep taking photos. The accommodations are wonderful. The staff is amazing. They went out of their way to make sure everything was wonderful. It was by far the BEST food we had in Knysna! And, a real treat was watching a film in the movie theater! Thank you, Jordan, and to all the staff who made our stay so wonderful.

Forest Elders - Family Double Treetop Suite Two large bedrooms, shared bathroom and the company of the famed Knysna Turaco (Knysna Lourie) who regularly have one-on-one combat with the bedroom windows. The entrance leads into the kitchen and out through a glass stained door to the outside deck providing forever views of the Karatara Gorge and the forest we are fortunate enough to call home.

Amazing stay, best service

What an amazing venue - the staff is super helpful, the view is amazing and you cannot find anything wrong - big rooms, great service, and an awesome wine collection - can definitely recommend anyone who wants to be spoiled and pampered and just enjoy luxury to visit The Mount Knysna

Our short stay

Service excellent, location fantastic, views spectacular, food great. Even when we had to leave early due to personal reasons they left us a parcel with some baked goodies for the road.
Only negative - the morning we wanted to leave early they hadn't restocked the coffee pods in the room and we couldn't find any coffee or cups before we left. Otherwise wonderful stay.

Hidden Gem on the Knysna Heads

The food was fantastic, the staff were all very warm and welcoming and OMW what a view of the Knysna Heads! What a memorable time this was! Margaret, well done on managing this wonderful place, my wife and I had a great time here!

Magnificent views and special character(s).

Outstanding! A truly magnificent establishment with incredible views and friendly and professional staff. The highlight of my visit was actually interacting with the staff and the owner is the comfort of the downstairs bar, while watching the Springboks beat the All Blacks. Memories that I will cherish. Highly recommend!

Mount Knysna

Very good accommodation. Excellent views. Quality of breakfast was excellent. Lady at reception (sorry forgot her name) was very pleasant and helpful .Nice to have full bouquet of television shows.Location
ideal for nice walks. Cost slightly expensive but not over the top.
