Kuname Lodge is picturesquely poised above a river (it was dry at the time we visited, but we watched many animals walking along the riverbed). Everyone, from the housekeepers and kitchen staff to the guides and trackers provided excellent service. Within a few days, we had seen "the big five" and learned a great deal about the ecology of the area.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Kuname and we can’t wait to go back! We saw 4 out of the big 5 and managed to get so close to the animals! Our safari guide Adolph and our tracker Eddy were so much fun and we’re simply excellent. The lodge and the room were done up beautifully. The decor is amazing, classy yet homely. You feel like it’s your home in Africa! The staff were so wonderful and friendly. The food was delicious! It was one of our favorite trips ever. We are already trying to plan our trip back next year!

Excellent location. However Accomodation somewhat tired for the money. This is made up for by very friendly staff. However the managers whilst well meaning were somewhat condescending. Great game drives. Rooms lacked hanging space.
We had four amazing days at Kuname Lodge and Anita, Andre and all the staff made us feel so welcome and relaxed - they really couldn't do enough for us. The food was amazing and varied and lots of it! We also had 'The A team' with Adolf and Moscoe - as our Driver and Tracker - they were so knowledgable and great fun to go out with. A special surprise dinner was organised by Anita and Andre for Neil's 60th birthday which was totally overwhelming - the Chef even made him a lovely birthday cake for the guests to share. Thanks so much again :) The lodge is very homely with lots of lovely touches, fresh flowers, magazines, books - like staying at a lovely home. I would have no hesitation in recommending anyone to visit this beautiful lodge and hopefully one day I will return.
