We spent a week in one of the honeymoon suites in the safari lodge and could not fault anything. From our arrival we were made to free so welcome by all the staff and other guests. Our room was kept immaculately clean (cleaners attend 2 - 3 times a day) the bed was comfortable, room well appointed and private. Only monkey, wart hogs etc wandering in our “garden”. Its communal dining which we loved, food is good - in particular breakfast - the chefs excelled at providing for my gluten free diet - i have never been so spoilt. Alisha was the lodge manager- so professional and friendly, Chris was also outstanding- Solly & Stephen were our driver/trackers - and were amazing- so funny, knowledgeable and went that extra mile to find what we wanted to see and entertaining us with stories including their culture. Just ask Solly to do his dance! The lodge arranged 3 trips for us, bush picnic, Blythe River cruise & hike and a day in Kruger - all fantastic and well worth doing- the other days it was so nice to have the peace and tranquility of our deck to watch nature - what more could anyone want. African safari has been a lifelong dream and Vuyani exceeded my expectations- it is a private reserve but it is so vast it was so natural and off road experiences added to it all, you really get up close and personal with the wildlife and get to see them living their natural lives. We would definitely return to this lodge

I had the time of my life. The staff was great always attentive, the safari guides the tracker and drivers were phenomenal (Stephen and solo) the manager divine was always attentive and helpful. The rooms were always clean and the breakfast was great. I had a wonderful experience. Some people need to realize you are in a safari lodge in the middle of wildlife and things will not be easy accesible thus criticizing things. If you are aware of were you are at and the effort these workers do to accommodate you, this lodge deserves 5 stars.

Terrible honeymoon experience

We booked a honeymoon package, no honeymoon additions were made even after they admitted they forgot it was our honeymoon.
supposedly 5 star. The honeymoon room is average at best. The bed is hard and uncomfortable, cheap towels, broken sunbeds, paint on cushions, dirty pool, areas inaccessible. Poor finish to the entire place.
Nothing to do between safaris. No entertainment, people wondering about looking for anything to do. the spa treatments don’t exist on site, they are a 30 minute drive away but no vehicles to get us there. We were advised by the property to book excursions on arrival only to then be told there was nothing available. The alernative option they advised was to get drunk.
Food isn’t even on par with Wetherspoons
Save your money and book somewhere else, the staff couldn’t care less that we weren’t satisfied
We paid £600+ per night.

We are not the only guests with these issues. I spoke to another guest that can’t get internet in his room and wants to leave after 1 night
