The mosque is beautiful, our lunch at the Ottoman Palace was delicious, apple tea at the bakery was heavenly. All of this topped off with some interesting little shops and warm, friendly people, and the Nizamiye Centre is a delight to visit.

This is a copy of the mosque in Istanbul and the tile work is exquisite. a must visit if you are in Gauteng. Turkish shops and coffee shop and bakery are a bonus

We went on a Friday, so the stores closed during prayer times. The mosque itself is a replica of the blue mosque in turkey so it feels like you are in a different country, beautiful architecture(of course ) and the lovely shops and a museum on site. The breads are lovely and so is the Turkish delight. I also found some lovely fig and ️Rose jam at the store.

I enjoyed visiting this musjid. Stunning architecture and styling. I was disappointed though that so few muslims took the time to pray in it. Inshallah this changes in the future.
