I found 15 on Orange to be the most comfortable, clean, and spacious b&b I have ever stayed at. It is quiet, owner run and the service is excellent. I will not go anywhere else when in Johannesburg. Also one gets a delicious snack every afternoon for tea. Highly recommended.
I stayed in the one bedroom suite in the courtyard. Beverley, the host was warm and welcoming. I came in late in the evening and she had prepared an excellent light supper. The suite has a small lounge, a good sized bedroom and a small and complete kitchen with tea and coffee supplies and everything needed for self catering. The place is peaceful and quiet, simply decorated, and very clean. The beautiful back garden has a pool and a large area indise the house that opens to the garden where breakfast is served if you desire.
I only had one night there but wished I could have stayed much longer. I suspect all the suites are comfortable. Mine was at the front of the house by the street. But ti was quiet because the street is a dead end and there is no traffic. Security is excellent, the birds sing in the trees, and Bev creates a warm and welcoming environment - yet gives you the space to work privately if needed. Congratulations, this is an outstanding place to stay
