This is The Spot for rolls. The menu for rolls is huge. I’ve been going to this place for years and still find new rolls to love. Regulars order off
menu items. Sit at the sushi bar, talk to Saki the owner and sushi chef or Danny the sushi chef, and talk to the person next to you. One item that is no longer on the menu (since I am not sharing off menu items yet) is the amazing grace roll. It’s delicious. I still haven’t had dinner here other than rolls and sometimes appetizers too. The rolls are just too good for me to try new things. The American Hero Roll is good. For a simple, pure, yet different from usual rolls, try the Something Good. They have junmai ginjo chilled sake as well as warm sake. They also give you a scoop of ice cream after the meal. This is my neighborhood joint, and now it’s well known to be one of the best sushi spots in the east valley.

This gem of a place is tucked away in a strip mall on Val Vista Dr and Guadalupe.

Saki, the owner is a savant; continually inventing new rolls, hand rolls, nigiri, sauces, etc.

Try Temari's you won't be disappointed!

Temari is always busy when they're open and it's for a reason. They have the best sushi in all of Gilbert in my opinion. It is a little more pricey compared to other placed but the rolls are large and most people will be content with 1-2 rolls.

The Poke is delicious as well and easily serves two people on a single order.

You can get traditional sushi here or go with something like the Primo Roll which is delicious but has a lot of sauce on it. Great go-to roll if you're not a fish person and don't want to taste it. Amazing Grace is good and the #2 roll is terrific as well.

Highly recommend this and sitting at the sushi bar if you can. The chefs, Danny and Sake will both chat with you and recommend rolls based on your preferences.

Still the best sushi in town. Saki and Danny do an amazing job of creating delicious mixes of flavors on their rolls. Fish is always fresh and tasty.

My favorite. It's tiny so it can be tricky to get a table - particularly for larger parties. We usually get the Amazing Grace or Primo. Very nice service.
