This is The Spot for rolls. The menu for rolls is huge. I’ve been going to this place for years and still find new rolls to love. Regulars order off
menu items. Sit at the sushi bar, talk to Saki the owner and sushi chef or Danny the sushi chef, and talk to the person next to you. One item that is no longer on the menu (since I am not sharing off menu items yet) is the amazing grace roll. It’s delicious. I still haven’t had dinner here other than rolls and sometimes appetizers too. The rolls are just too good for me to try new things. The American Hero Roll is good. For a simple, pure, yet different from usual rolls, try the Something Good. They have junmai ginjo chilled sake as well as warm sake. They also give you a scoop of ice cream after the meal. This is my neighborhood joint, and now it’s well known to be one of the best sushi spots in the east valley.
