My wife and I paid for 3 nights, meeting the waiting driver with my printed name sign at YAP Airport arriving at 1:15AM and to this hotel at 2AM.
Prepared reception made check in quick and easy, filling out a short form, collecting the key and following the driver carrying our bag.
Room #2 was quaint like a cottage and constructed like a ship cabin with nooks and crannies to fill every need and enlightened by numerous mirrors. With a wood floor and close ceiling, it accommodates a comfortable king, a sink area with hot pot, coffee/tea, refer w/water, cabinet TV with vast streaming channels, secure room wifi and a super quiet wall AC. A front door opened to a tight toilet(floor wet with water leak) and shower room and a back glass door opened to an overwater deck with a table and 2 chairs.
There is a small library with AC/fireplace and an exquisite bar/lounge.
We walked 200m south to the outdoor Yap Living Museum, the excellent CO OP grocery and Ganir Restaurant and we walked 100m north to the 1898 “Mnuw” sea hawk ship restaurant and an Asian Store beyond.
We were very pleased with this friendly, quiet hotel which included airport transfers, nice accommodation and 24 hour reception. Nearly a 5*.
