Clean,spacious and a delight to stay. Will definitely stay here again when we come back.
Very close to restaurants and main part of city. No road noise.
Bathroom was one of best we have seen in a motel. Good pricing

After driving about late looking for a place to stay we came across Aspen. A well heated room with a spa bath. Bed was very comfy and place above our expectations. Would definately stay again. Close to all amenities and clean and well set out.

We stayed at the Aspen recently in a studio room. We had everything we needed however, the rooms were extremely small - you could hardly walk around the bed and the sink was in the bedroom. The rooms were clean, quiet, bed comfortable and the toiletries were really nice. I would recommend this motel and stay here again but would book a larger room next time.
Room tip: Don't get a studio room, it is too small.

I stay at Aspen on King often for work. The rooms are always clean and the motel is at a great location (close enough to town but very quiet). The thing I like most about this motel is the service. The owners are very friendly and always go above and beyond to ensure that I am comfortable. I would defiantly consider it my home away from home!

What a lovely motel you have here we throughly enjoyed our stay. Karen and Terry have thought of every little detail to make the luxury room more homely the spa bath was a bonus look forward to staying with u in future nick

Quietness: 10/10 - There were a few people, and I didnt hear a word out of anyone leaving/arriving etc

I travel a lot and stay at a lot of hotels and motels, I found Aspen on King (room 21) to be one of the most comfortable yet, as its decor and layout provided a feeling thats actually relaxing, inviting, warm and I didnt felt the need to go out, in fact I wanted to eat in. The layout feels like a real home away from home experience, flawlessly clean, great lighting, and a spacious super clean bathroom and spa. If I really had to pick a negative, it would be it took a while to fill the large spa :-) ...but there was plenty of wine glass space on the side of offset this :-)
I ask myself the next time I come to Timaru will I try another place?, the answer is no, as I am very happy with the value and qauilty enough that I am happy that I do not want to experience any other, this was a good find, and easy to get too.
My rating system is 6 is acceptable, 7 good, 8+ excellent, so I dont give out 9's very often but this did deserve a write up and to give it a good rating.
