Absolutely wonderful in every single way
Customer service, food quality and price value. Ladies and gentleman be aware that the portions are BIG so before you order check properly.

My family and me went for eating lunch and even if the menu is expensive, the quality and the quantity supplies it. You cannot leave without asking for the "chuletón de Ávila" one of the best things God have created.

Did not book . There is a limited number of tables. Set meal is 28euros per person - this includes a bottle of wine, starter, main, and either dessert or coffee. There is no English menu . I did not see any vegetarian dishes- nor any vegetables!
I had goats cheese with apple starter - wonderful flavours, well put together and pleasing presentation. My main was the roast lamb- a huge leg of meat - well cooked, lacking in anything else of note. It was served with a few crisped potatoes. There is no salt or pepper on the table. My other half had the soup ( needed some seasoning, but where was the salt?), and a huge portion of hake-served with prawns.
I had the deconstructed strudel- great idea, lovely ice cream. They could have made more of the flavour - an opportunity missed.
Service was good- waiters wear bow ties white shirts, black trousers with black braces- very smart.
There was an empty soap dispenser in the toilets, otherwise clean, as is the restaurant as a whole.

Food is unbelievable great. Original, well presented, massive portions, quality. Price is not expensive, just 28€ for the menu includying main, second, dessert and drink. I orderED a Rioja red wine, salad of avocado and anchovies as first, and steak from Avila as second. All was incredible good, couldnt finish the Tiramissu! So full!

This relatively new restaurant is quite central, on a street that leads on to the town's principal square. Décor is spare and modern, atmosphere uncluttered; staff friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. I was there with frequent customers, so we were very well treated. Menu is varied. I opted for traditional Spanish cuisine and was not disappointed. Food was of a very high quality and well presented. Would happily return any time!
