We stayed here for 2 nights in mid April. It's very conveniently located right outside one of the gates into the walled city. It was easy to find and we had no trouble finding free parking at this time of the year. We had a double room that was small but adequate. The same comment applies to the bathroom. The place was renovated 4 years ago and is in very good condition. It was also very clean. The hotel has a cafeteria which seemed to attract locals during the day. Dinner is available - we ate there one night and it was fine. The only negatives we can think of are the lack of a lift and a pretty average (although cheap) breakfast. Overall excellent value for money.

The location is prime, right beside the Wall of Avila. A family runs the hotel. Very friendly and helpful. We stayed at triple room. It was spacious and suitable for person with disability. The steak is very good. Parking is safe and free. Fyi, a triple costs €110 and a double costs €50.

Stayed 2 nights in Avila. The hotel is in an ideal position for walking the sights. It has a nice bar and we enjoyed excellent tapas at lunchtime. Also the hotel is spotlessly clean, and the staff, particularly Ness in the bar are all friendly.

This is a two star hotel so the 85 Euros we were charged made it extremely over priced. Our room was very basic and a little small, also appeared to be very new. Ridiculous wash basin in the bathroom (imagine trying to wash in a wok shaped basin only 3 inches deep!). Beds appeared smaller than most and were rather hard, although we slept well. The TV remote control did not work. Could not work out how to use the air conditioner - instructions would be useful.
Breakfast was a total shambles. My wife asked for cereal and it was served dry on a dinner plate. When we asked for milk, we were given a soup bowl full to the brim! It took ages for us to make the staff member aware of exactly what we wanted. Some staff training needed here I feel.

There are many hotels within the city walls, but this one is just (literally) outside of the walls. Very clean with it's own café on site, so no need to go looking for breakfast, although the choice is limited to croissants and cake. The fresh orange is just that though, fresh, and lovely. The rooms were very clean, and the staff very helpful despite not knowing much English. We know a little Spanish and you need that in Avila anyway, as there is very little English spoken anywhere.
