Etu Moana, Aitutaki is the place to go, to get away from the rest of the world. Such peace and tranquillity - we have never experienced such relaxation. Absolutely everything you need is at hand but somehow it all still feels so simple and uncomplicated. We thought the resort was almost empty the first two days but it was in fact full! That’s how quiet it is. Jane and Steve are amazing - just the icing on Etu Moana’s cake. Jane checks in with you daily to make sure you haven’t forgotten about dinner bookings / excursions for the next day. The breakfast by the pool starts the day off perfectly. There are really good options for other meals (I had no troubles being gluten and dairy free - thank you Jane!!) dinner by the pool at Etu Moana on set nights, great restaurants close by and a great choice of cafes on the island. It’s so easy to eat healthy here - fresh fish, vegetables and fruit. Getting around is easy - we did lots of walking up in the mountain area. There are pushbikes available and the e Scooters were so much fun. We explored the whole island over a couple of days. You can even call a taxi! We learned so much about the island from our super friendly taxi driver. The islanders are just beautiful and always so helpful. Get out and see the fish and the coral, and the outer islands in the lagoon - it’s a highlight. As are the crabs on the beach at night. Jane - we will never forget the dinner you prepared for us to eat on our deck watching the sun set on the lagoon on our last night. You made Etu Moana feel like home for us.
