As soon as the covid bubble with the Cook Islands opened we booked a beach front bungalow for 6 nights at the end of May. The resort was spotless, the service professional and friendly. We had a very relaxing time in a beautiful piece of paradise, called Aitutaki. Thank you, Jane and Steve and your lovely staff!

In recent Covid-19 dominated months, I have found myself returning to memories of the most perfect few days that I can recall - our stay on Aitutaki in an Etu Moana Beach View Villa. From the moment we spotted Aitutaki from the air, through the warm and generous welcome we had from Pip, Nick and all the lovely staff, to our wonderfully sited and appointed Villa and the delicious breakfasts of fruit, cheeses and homemade baking, this was a holiday made in heaven!
Pip and Nick were marvellous hosts, recommending and booking restaurants for us which were a barefoot stroll along the beach, helping with bikes for our circuit of the island...and even delivering champagne with the warmest of wishes for our special wedding anniversary.
Take care, kia kaha (be strong) - we'll be back...and next time we we'll spend ALL of our time in Rarotonga on Aitutaki...and at Etu Moana!
Thank you to all for unforgettable memories.

Meitaki, thank you for your very kind words and your positive review of your stay at Etu Moana Villas . We are so pleased you have happy memories, especially heightened in these Covid times when travel is so restricted. We are pleased to know that sometime in the future you will return, by-passing Rarotonga and making a bee-line for Aitutaki and Etu Moana, we certainly look forward to that. Keep those unforgettable memories alive until we can meet again, kia kaha to you too. From us all at Etu Moana Beach Villas.

Our first visit to the Cook Islands was special mainly due to our stay at Etu Moana. Pip & Nick greeted us and immediately we loved the vibe that Etu Moana offered. Our room was spectacular with an ocean front view, outside private shower and a lovely front porch. Breakfasts and weekend happy hours were enjoyable and gave us a chance to meet other guests. It was recommended that we head to church on Sunday and we did. What an incredible experience. Go if you can.
We did utilize the kayaks, stand up board and bicycles. My husband had a bit of a challenge with a bike seat adjustment. He was unable to finish a bike ride back to Etu Moana but Nick jumped into his pick up and rescued him and the bike.
That’s the kind of personal care that we received at Etu Moana.

When our honeymoon turned upside-down due to my husband's illness, Pip and Nick were genuine people first, incredible hosts. We have no hesitations recommending this resort or Pip and Nick as managers.

The Villas are very nice, well appointed, maintained, and clean. The bed is comfortable and the large porch in front of your room gives you needed shade from the hot sun or a great view of the sea. Since the resort is small you really feel like you are alone. There is no restaurant on property, but many local restaurants to choose from which are just a walk on the beach away or short taxi ride, which can be arranged for you. Breakfast was good, fresh fruit, breads, waffles, but no meat. For me it lacked variety, but my wife very much enjoyed the fresh fruit offerings and special homemade breads.

Room tip: Ask for the end villa - very private and close to the beach.

Kia Orana jam1015,
Thank you for spending time reviewing your recent stay at Etu Moana Beach Villas, Aitutaki. We are very glad that you enjoyed the villa, the property and the island in general by the sound of it. Yes we are spoilt with only 10 villas and no one under the age of 16 years, how peaceful the place is, often you feel like the only ones around!
We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you in the future and we appreciate your kind words.
