Lomani is an adults-only resort. Lomani is a professionally run resort where the staff attend to every minute detail with heart. For example, we observed an elderly couple cheerfully accompanied each night to their bure by a staff team member who took a genuine interest in their well-being. We celebrated our wedding anniversary with a romantic beachside sunset dinner serenade by a guitarist and presented with a beautiful cake from management. We had a complex transfer to catch the Yasawa Flyer to our next destination, and the resort was able to make this happen and get us to the rendezvous point on time. Staying at the Lomani sister facility- Fiji Gateway Hotel - on our arrival to Fiji made the transfer to the island stress-free. Without worrying about catching the last boat out from Port Denarau Marina at 5:30 pm, if the flight was running late, the hotel shuttle collected us from the airport, and we had a restful night before transferring in the morning. If you want a resort that is polished, close to Nadi and away from the school holidaymakers, Lomani is for you. Suppose the grandkids must come on holiday with you. In that case, there is the family-friendly Plantation Island resort next door within easy walking distance, so you can visit and effortlessly return to the solace of this beautiful resort.

We were looking for somewhere for a major milestone celebration and we found it at Lomani. We've had other South Pacific holidays, so you might say it would be hard to impress us. Well Lomani you did! From the 1st musical welcome to the island to the farewell from the resort it was superb. The staff genuine and very welcoming, professional and helpful. Probably the best check-in experience ever, sitting there facing the view with a fresh cocoanut to drink from. Spacious clean fresh quality accommodation. Its a lovely spot on the edge of the bay facing West, cocoanut palms, white sand etc. We enjoyed the glass bottom double kayak on the sheltered bay. You can snorkel off the beach, though to get the best sight of coral and fish you need to go out on one of the daily snorkeling trips. We had a great trip out to see the spinner dolphins. We were looking forward to going out on the Hobiecat but tide and wind didn't cooperate so we just had to relax by the pool. Being adults only resort it was more peaceful and relaxing. Most activities were included. The sunset cruise to Castaway island had a reasonable charge.
The resort has a good eye for detail which constantly delighted us. We reported a slight problem with the toilet flush and they responded immediately and fixed.
There was a superb "Fiji day" of Fiji activities and culture. We particularly enjoyed the dinner and the singing and dancing. The Kava was 'interesting' but I think I'll stick to G&T!
In general the food was good and plentiful though personally we prefer our fish and steak cooked less.
On our special day, we had dinner by the water edge, romantic lighting all topped off with the very tuneful staff coming over and singing to us. Magic!
The island itself is quite small so a trip around using one of the quirky bikes available was enjoyable but didn't take too long!
So did we enjoy our stay? You bet! Thank you so much Lomani and the lovely staff. We won't wait till our next milestone to return!

The most amazing resort we have ever stayed at. We had an ocean front Bure and we were blown away with the privacy and space you had. Everywhere in the resort looks right onto the water allowing you to take the views on from the bar, restaurant and lobby. The staff were the friendliest people. Our favourite part was playing monopoly deal at the bar watching the sunset and enjoying the yummy cocktails. Everywhere we went after Lomani was just a disappointment compared to the experience we had here. Vinaka!!
