Beautiful place and people

Except for the mostly uninspiring food everything else was so so good. Enjoyed the ferry ride to Malolo and the wonderful welcome by the staff. Amazing peaceful holiday.

The location, the people and the food…amazing!! Didn’t know what to expect, but the rooms were beautiful. The staff are the friendliest people and take extra care to know you. And the food is fresh and 5 Star delicious! The location is breathtaking!!

Always take reef shoes with you.
Wonderful resort, no kids, all meals are included no drinks including cafe style coffees and fresh juices

Stayed at Likuliku for our wedding for 5 days. Everything was great! Went with a group of a bunch of picky eaters so we were all nervous about the food based on the sample menus but everyone loved the food. All the staff are very easy going and accommodating. My only complaint is being bit by mosquitos but they also provides ample bug spray in room and throughout the resort. Also this is a very chill resort...if your looking for a party vibe they have fun Excursions. If your hesitant...book it!

Positives:
"The resort's environment and surroundings truly captivate the senses with their breathtaking beauty. Each evening, from our overwater bungalow, we were treated to the most stunning sunsets imaginable. The ocean teeming with colorful and abundant marine life added an extra layer of enchantment to our stay. The staff's dedication to ensuring a superb experience was evident in their personalized service; they made a point to remember our names and greet us warmly with a 'Bula' at every opportunity. Moreover, the culinary offerings were a delight, with delicious food and refreshing drinks that added to the overall enjoyment of our stay."

Areas for improvement:
"While the overall experience was wonderful, I couldn't help but feel that the resort fell short in some areas. For an all-inclusive resort, I expected basic amenities to be included in the price of our overwater bure. Unfortunately, beverages were not included with meals, apart from plain drip coffee, tea, or water, and incurred additional charges ranging from $8-$38 FJD. Additionally, as a younger couple who enjoys some nightlife and socializing, we found the lack of evening entertainment disappointing. Dinners, although delicious and elegant, occasionally took up to almost 2 hours, which felt longer than expected. The patron and staff mentality seemed to lean towards an early night rather than late-night socialization, it would be nice to encourage guests to utilize the island tiki-bar to meet up and have the option for something to do after 9pm. More flexible food options would have been a plus rather than the strict meal schedule (like a basic-eats or room service option). Furthermore, while the rooms were comfortable, we found them lacking in multiple outlets along the bedside, which would have been convenient for charging devices.

I did express my concerns about the slow service to the managers on one of the nights, and they attributed it to the new electronic system that rolled out that evening. However, this explanation seemed inconsistent, as the slow service had been noticeable for the three nights prior as well."

Appreciation for exceptional staff:
"While most of the staff are coached on how to interact with patrons, we found that a sense of personability and authenticity was especially appreciated. Rosie, in particular, stood out for her ability to strike the perfect balance between professionalism and genuine warmth. She had a knack for making us feel at ease, sharing laughs, and creating a fun atmosphere while delivering impeccable and courteous service.

Dear Meander25559158754,

Thank you for taking the time to share such a comprehensive review of your stay with the TA community. Firstly, we are delighted you found so many aspects of your stay enjoyable and experienced the true “Bula spirit” of Likuliku and Fiji – especially with our dedicated and friendly Fijian staff, our surroundings, service and our cuisine.

We appreciate your constructive feedback on “areas for improvement”. With regards to inclusions in your room price, it is stated very clearly on our website what to expect so there are no surprises for guests. We apologise that the restaurant service was slow. As you mentioned, we were in a transitional period of introducing a new ordering and back-of-house system, however, this has been addressed with the team and further training and adjustments to the new system are in place. Regarding the in-room amenities and facilities, we are actually making several upgrades this year to several aspects of the rooms including: more outlets for devices, new espresso coffee machines, bottled water from our own water and bottling plant and new smart TVs and sound systems.

Likuliku has an extremely diverse clientele, not only from all over the world, but in ages and reasons for staying eg we enjoy guests celebrating their honeymoons, right through to couples celebrating 50th wedding anniversaries, and everything else in between. We have found that after dinner, in general, most guests are happy to retire or have a quiet night-cap at the island bar, however, we take on board your comments about post-dinner socialising and will discuss with the team.

Once again, thank you for your feedback and we hope we can welcome you back to our shores again in the not too distant future.

Vinaka and warmest regards,
