The fountain is located in Dutch Square, which should be included as part of your visit to Malacca. It's not spectacular, but serves as a reminder of the British colonial presence.

You have to take picture in here as a proof you have been malaka,
Location around red blocks, you can find souvenir stalls around here and as tourist meeting point too

This is just a fountain but it seems to be the emotional icon for tourist in idyllic Melaka. It’s a very pretty old fountain by the river and is in good condition and it’s hard to miss if you are walking to shop or eat in Jonker. Everybody else is taking photos there so why not join them!

A charming antique looking fountain right at the dutch square to catch a breath on a sunny day and to get couple of photographs. The vibe to this place is great. Quite crowded with tourists and funny looking trishaws themed after cartoon characters playing really loud music and moving around the place carrying people. There are few street shops around the corner.

It never fails to amaze me what there are TA review pages for sometime.

This is a fountain that intrudes it the frontage in front of the red Dutch buildings.

You will go to the red buildings so you will see it.

End of!
