The old mosque combines malay, chinese, indian & arabic architecture design. Looks special & nice. However, it's not tourists friendly

Built in 1848, it's one of the oldest mosque in town. It is well maintained, well kept & fully in use. It has a water reservoir for ablution, a mineret, inner & outer areas for worship, fairly well carpeted. The alter quite old & used. Peaceful surroundings. Spent some time there for worship. It's in an area where people of many faiths living together in harmony.

Kampung Kling Mosque was built in 1748 in the Sumatran style with Hindu influences. The minaret is particularly interesting as it is built like a pagoda which is unusual for the Islamic style. It also has fine tiles imported from Europe.

Nice little masjid in the heart of Jonker Walk area, based on old Chinese architecture, both exterior and interior. Went there for our Friday prayer. You have to be there early or else you could not get a space inside the masjid. Love the classic pool for ablution.

This place is on Jalan Tokong Besi - Harmony Street - and right next to the Hindu mosque.
I didn't get too far in because it was a warm day and I didn't feet like covering up.
(You don't have to be dressed properly when you arrive, but you do have to put on the garments supplied in order to progress further if you're female).

Gorgeous tiles and architecture influenced from a variety of regions. If you're going to be in the area, then stop in here as well as the other main temples of the area/street!
