Located on a corner half-way along Jonker Street, the principal street of Chinatown, this is an excellent little cafe. Beer is 15 Ringgits (3 GBP) and fruit drinks 7.5 Ringgits (1.5 GBP). For a snack try the excellent spring rolls at 10 Ringgits for 4 (2 GBP). Highly recommended and great stop off in your tour of Chinatown.

Whilst this is a great location to chill out during a stroll down Jonker Walk, the owners milk the tourists with prices higher than many outlets in Kuala Lumpur. Geared to make money from tourists at weekends, like so much of Melaka has to do in order to survive the remaining 5 weekdays!

Lovely cafe, strategic location but with average foods and its a bit of expensive. It is suitable for a date.

Geographers is always packed in the late afternoons, but you would do well to stop by for a quick bite before you continue your trek in historic Jonker. The brown rice/brown noodles curry mee is always a favorite whenever we're there, accompanied by the house-style fried tempeh. The menu is extensive, to be fair we've not had the opportunity to really exhaust it, but what dishes we've had, we've all loved. It's a cosy little corner you shouldn't miss.

If you are like me, for whom espresso is the number one thing that is missed while travelling in Asia, you will also appreciate this café. Great quality coffee, nice service, and the terrace is also a very nice place to sit. Also, reasonably priced.
A note for smokers: the entire Jonker street is non-smoking, although you may, very rarely, see some locals including some shop owners smoking in the street, it is forbidden, although I didn't see a single sign saying the hole street was non-smoking. (The waitress said I could smoke at my own risk, so I didn't).
