Birthday Celebration at Novotel Kolkata

We visited the Novotel Kolkata - Hotel & Residences to celebrate my wife’s birthday! So we had booked two base category rooms - one for us & one for parents. I’m an AccorPlus Silver member and had informed Novotel Kolkata about celebrating the special occasion. The team not only upgraded both the rooms to 1 bedroom apartment rooms but also decorated our room with balloons & provided a birthday cake (complimentary), even before our arrival.

Upon arrival at 1pm, we were welcomed with some fresh juices and flower petals! Ms. Chandrani Datta assisted us throughout our stay starting from Day 0 and the checkin was just a breeze (hardly took a couple of minutes)!

The rooms were adjacent and magnificent! They felt like a “suite room”. They came with a wonderful view of the city and swimming pool. We headed to Ministry of Kebabs for lunch and wow we were blown away by the quality of food. It tasted so yum. You must try this restaurant at Novotel Kolkata!

In the evening, you had some guests over, had a nice ‘adda’. Had our snacks / dinner at Cafe Joy. Very good food! Next morning, the buffet breakfast offered more or less same food like any other 5-star breakfast buffet. We enjoyed our breakfast and strolled for a walk and photo session by the swimming pool.

We left with a very heavy heart only to come back again in the future. Kudos to the Novotel Kolkata - Hotel & Residences team for offering such memorable experiences to their guests. Appreciate it and look forward to come back again soon.

A home away from home

I stayed in Novotel Kolkata - Hotel & Residences for over an year and they made my stay as pleasant as I could never imagine. They offered me far beyond great service. The staff is amazing, dedicated, professional, caring, attentive, always with a smile, always time for a pleasant chat. From the security guards to the ladies and gentlemen from front desk, duty managers, housekeeping, restaurants, they made me feel special every single day and made me feel that I am at a home away from home.

I appreciate the efforts put in by Chandrani and Avirup from the guest relation team for keeping a regular check and ensuring that my stay was going comfortable. Kudos to the duty managers Pinki, Raj Sekhar, Pallavi and the front desk team Shuddha, Arkita and Roumita for keeping everything from check-in to check-out, hassle free. Thanks to Rajdeep, Amit, Amritesh, Manoshi, Bhaskar, Saloni, Santanu, Sanju and the Chefs for excellent dinning experience at the restaurants and in-room dining. I would like to extend special thanks to the entire housekeeping team, the room was always not only well equipped but super clean and perfect.

A lifetime memory

Life time experience.
All the staffs are very courteous
Food was really awesome, buffet food was so yummy

Good hotel

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel, which offers stunning views of the new town. Its convenient location near the airport . The spacious rooms are equipped with all the necessary amenities, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. The food is delicious, with a diverse range of dishes available at both the buffet breakfast and dinner.. The hotel's facilities are also noteworthy, featuring a well-equipped fitness center and a pool. Overall, our experience was very good.
