Novotel Kolkata is one of the best Hotels in Kolkata, location is very far from old town , but for shopping and food there is a Mall nearby Rooms are very spacious and comfortable, Restaurants serve very good food and drinks

Very nice and comfortable stay. Bigger room, very good food and service. Arpita in the restaurant was super helpful. Saurabh in the Gym helped me a lot. Thanks to both and sll staff for making our stay so comfortable and memorable.

I went to the square on 8th july for lunch buffet we were 4 members the same was informed and reservation was made. I was celebrating my birthday and a cake was also informed. The hostess had no clue about the reservation neither the cake. There were staffs but was not attentive. A lady server was there who is really hardworking and was doing at her best. Finally we had to ask for the cake to lot of the staffs and then it arrived and we were waiting like beggars for more that 30 mins. I visit Novotel always for special occasion but this time they ruined my birthday. Reservation screenshot is attached below for your reference.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent visit to The Square on 8th July. I deeply regret to learn about the disappointing experience you had during your birthday celebration. Please accept my sincerest apologies for the inconvenience and frustration you endured.
As mentioned by my colleague-Akash Bansal, Director of Operations at Novotel Kolkata, we strive to provide exceptional service and memorable experiences for all our guests. It is evident from your account that we fell short of these standards, particularly in terms of communication and attentiveness.
I have personally investigated the matter with Akash, and discussed your feedback with our team to ensure that such lapses do not occur in the future. It is disheartening to hear that the reservation details and the special arrangements for your birthday cake were not adequately communicated and handled. Additionally, I am sorry for the delay in serving the cake and the lack of attentiveness from our staff, which caused further discomfort on your special day.
Please know that we are taking immediate steps to improve our reservation process and heartist training to prevent such occurrences. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us identify areas that need improvement.
