My stay at the Westin was amazing! I really enjoyed every moment of it. Pretha from the business lounge was super friendly and made me feel really welcome.
The food from the Seasonal Tastes was really good, specially breakfast, when the chef gave us to try different local specialties every day, so that we had the chance to taste authentic Indian flavors.
Trisha in the front desk was very helpful and organized our transport from the airport in advance. It was really convenient, and when we arrived after a 24 hours trip, the driver was there already waiting for us. She took care of all other arrangements during our stay, so we didn't stressed about anything,
I also enjoyed the 3 hours signature treatment in the spa, and it felt great. It was like I became a brand new person after the massage. I strongly recommend to try, it was not only relaxing, but it also healing experience, for soul and body.

I want to share with all of you, my recent experience with hotel, Westin Kolkata. I checked in at 9 AM after a long flight. Mr Abhi at the reception was quite rude and and I had to tell him that being at a hospitality industry, you should at least smile and talk nicely to the guests. On me saying this, he had no remorse, and in fact, he again made a face and turned away. This is to share with all the travellers, how the receptionist at hotel Westin Kolkata behave. I think they need to be taught how to talk to guests, how to behave in a hospitality industry. I was treated as if they were doing a favour to me by providing me a room. I have travelled across the world and not dealt with treatment like this before.

Being a Bonvoy Hotel, Westin Kolkata does not match the standard. Check in was smooth and good, however no explanation being a Gold Elite member if the room was upgraded or not and do I have Club Lounge access or not. AC was not working and had to call 4 times maintenance team to rectify AC. Booking shows was upgraded to suite on Bonvoy app, however hotel made a check in to normal room. Only staffs to thank are Ankur from Concierge who sound very confident in his job and Check Pranab Banerjee was an amazing personality. He took care for me for dining. Front office is bit annoying. If a payment is done by cash, they never do have change to return and keep say we will adjust/return at check out. Upon check out the cashier pretends nothing to pay out. This is something very strange in this hotel. Laundry service is very quick.

Room tip: Dont recommend this hotel for Bonvoy members as they dont do upgrade and service quality of front desk is very poor

One of the best experiences I had. The hospitality and welcome was great. The room was absolutely stunning, beautifully decorated. Restaurant exp was fab. Chef’s recommendations were great. Watching the city life from the top enjoying a beautiful drink , was an amazing experience. Highly recommended and surely going back again.

Nice hospitality and proximity of the location to airport is a boon. Courteous staff and great quality food especially the fishes and poochka.. Bonvoy members gets access to a cozy lounge to unwind in evenings. Rooms and views are good facing the ecopark..
overall a great experience.. keep it up!

Very poorly managed hotel under the umbrella of marriott and Westin whole as a brand .I had multiple unpleasant experiences at this property due to lack of knowledge from staff as well as "not willing to learn and help attitude ".What I overall feel is this property needs a strong leader to guide and upskill the entire team members ,which is lacking and you can understand and feel it ,if you stay at this property or walk around for a bit or try to avail any of their services . Most of their staff members will nod their head for everything and ignore your small requests and also come up with excuses that you will not hear in any other Westin hotels in india. I have communicated all incidents to the loyalty manager so not intending to list all those one by one .

However I would like to sincerely thank Mr .Surojit and team from housekeeping for keeping my room always immaculate clean also Mr Protik Bhowmick and Ms .Pritha chakroborty for mounting up all their efforts and kindness to make up for this hotel mess created during my two days stay .

Room tip: If you have stayed at the Westin in the past ,don't expect the same experiences at this property .
