Heartfelt Gratitude for making this, one of the most memorable of stays at any hotel, anywhere... We absolutely loved our 17th floor room and the views of the water bodies and the expansive farmlands around. Standing by the window, looking at the beautiful horizon, it would always be hard to imagine that we were in the middle of a city, as chaotic as that of Kolkata. Precious peace is what we got here. Also, I must say that the rooms are beautifully designed too. The use of the marble tiles (both on the floor and on the walls) is just excellent, complimenting the use of the rooms space brilliantly well!!!
A truly special and heartfelt thanks to Ms. Indrani, for having made our stay so comfortable... and so cherishable. We have known Indrani since her Westin days, and I must say that she, with her genuine affection and care, wins our hearts every time that we interact with her. She is the primary reason why we chose to stay at this proprty. She has taken care of us like she would do for her family members. She introduced us to a team of staff members who were equally sensitive and caring. If only every 5 star property had even one person like her, managing guest relationships, it would make all the difference. Keep up the wonderful work, Indrani, and the sky would be the only limit!!!
Mr. Shimul (FnB Executive), thanks to you, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals here! The stay becomes totally gratifying if the meals live up to your expectations. You took great care and put in a great deal of effort to actually make that happen. Also, thanks to the chefs too who executed the job. Aand to the entire IRD team for having taken such good care of us.
Housekeeping was just perfect!!! Mr. Muzzamel and his team member, Mr. Manas were always alert to our needs and ensured that we never had a chance to complain. The room was kept perfectly clean and sanitized.
On the whole, we noticed that the staff members were keen to serve you well, and make sure that you left the hotel fully satisfied! There was a real effort towards making that possible, and we truly appreciate that. We will look forward to visiting this property again.

It has been one of my best stays so far. From the moment you enter the premises, people are proactively taking care of you. You're greeted by a big smile from the security officials, moving on to the portico where you are received by the valet executives ready to help with parking your car and taking care of your luggage. Post security we were welcomed into the hotel lobby and a Guest experience Executive offered to help us around the hotel and its services, her name is Umme, and a shoutout to her for making our stay one of the most wonderful stays ever. Every small gesture she put in contributed to making it one of the best stays, and definitely going the extra mile to make my fiance's birthday so special in such short notice, a massive thanks to her for making my fiance feel so loved. She showed us around the hotel, its facilities and then briefed us about our room. She made sure we had an amazing view of the city and were well taken care of for the duration of our stay
The room was absolutely amazing with a breathtaking view of the ITC Royal Bengal, the maa flyover and the cityscape. The french windows of the room, and the couch positioned near those windows, switch off the lights in the room with the one touch control panel beside the bed(The bed is so comfortable it feels you're floating on a fluffy cloud), after which you could just sit there all night long snd stare into the horizon, its mesmerizing. The bathroom was magnificent with a separate shower area and a bathtub overlooking the same view that we have from our room, both the massive windows have one touch open and close blinds. There is a perfectly placed chair and table overlooking the same view if you want to get some meetings in and work done. Moving on to the gym, pool and spa, all are on the 2nd floor. The pool is always in the perfect temperature, so you dont feel cold while you take your first dip, you could sip some delicious drinks offered by their poolside bar and restaurant, while either relaxing in the pool or by the poolside on the deckchairs. Coming to the gym, its fully equipped to get you a good work out its even got a pull up and dips assist machine which is a bit rare in other gyms. Its got a smith machine, squat rack, a full set of dumbells, a cardio section, chest and shoulder presses, pull downs and adjustable pulleys, a snack bar to fulfill your post workout protein and carb requirements. Once you've finished your workout be it the pool or the gym, there is a fully equipped sauna and bath along with lockers to keep your extra clothes and phones. The spa was extremely rejuvenating, you should definitely visit whenever you're at the Marriott. Coming down to JW kitchen, the best buffet spread I have ever had so far. Marriot's breakfast spread is world renowned and it lives up to its name, whatever you can think of exists within the tables and the live counters, and what you don't see can be ordered. There will always be floor managers proactively on the look out for customers who might be a bit confounded by the massive spread, or somebody looking to order something special catered to their specific tastebuds. Do not ever miss the buffet!!!!! Special mentions include the JW bakery, the cakes are just to die for and thanks to Umme again for the amazing birthday cake from the JW Bakery, it seemed like a chocolate Bruce Cake definitely give it a try!!! We have never felt so pampered in our lives, all thanks to Umme, Ankita and Kulsum for making our stay wonderful, and making us feel so welcome. Definitely visiting JW Marriott again for my next stay!!
