A hotel giving very mixed messages.
The hotel is down a building site of an alleyway, easily missed as you dodge the traffic on a very busy bazaar. The reception is helpful and has links to a local travel agency who can arrange anything.
The room is modern with effective a/c and fan and the wet room has an efficient shower which is not always hot with basic toiletries.
Although we had to have the sheets changed on arrival, the main obstacle to a good nights’ sleep is the noise. From the street (car horns), the next door building work, barking dogs and fellow residents. Sleeping with the tv on is the only way to soothe yourself to sleep.
A great place to immerse yourself in basic New Dehli life amongst the people trying to scratch a honest living in a hotel that is trying to rise above that.
The positive experience outweighed the shortfalls.
