I had been to this hotel just for a night and found very good...very decent hotel to stay....Even with family. You feel like you are in Rome.

full of Italian artifacts...rooms are small and breakfast is ok...Ok...

But still I will give * * * * (4 star).

I took the membership of The Royal Plaza on a phone call from Ms Heena for Rs 9999/-. As is always a case in such Hotel membership selling, I was promised set of services complimentary & I did receive a voucher booklet. But the problem started when I wanted to avail my membership benefits. Dinner Buffet for 2 Coupon at Coffee Shop - Mr Neeraj coffee shop manager could have handled the situation more professionally instead of out rightly telling us - "I am accepting this voucher as an exception this time. Next time onward make sure you have a booking" I mean they call themselves a 5 STAR hotel in Central Delhi???? Staff is expected to be more courteous in managing guests. After all, we didn't go there to avail form FREE benefits - we PAID for the membership card & we are entitled to avail benefits. Result: BRAND THE ROYAL PLAZA Dented. Then the FOOD QUALITY at their Coffee Shop is below par & cannot be compared to any other 5 STAR Hotel I have ever visited. As an icing on the top - we saw a BIG RODENT in the restaurant moving around freely & the staff too was very causal about it.

Then we visited SKY BAR at the roof top of this hotel. We showed our Membership Card & Vouchers (2 Alcoholic & Non-Alcoholic Drinks Complimentary). Restaurant Manager Mr Raj Gupta, saw that before hand and approved usage of the same. When I asked for check out formalities Mr Raj told me that this Voucher is not valid here expect on Thursdays. This neither is mentioned anywhere on the voucher nor was told to us by Ms Heena. Then he came up with another reason to reject our membership claim - showing us something in fine print on the voucher. Instead of handling situation gracefully with the guest, Mr Raj Gupta was only interested in ensuring somehow we pay up. We eventually PAID the bill for 2 Drinks we had ordered & moved out.

Result: The Royal Club & The Royal Plaza BRAND is surely diminished forever. I would never ever recommend this Hotel or their membership to anyone. I feel sorry for couple of friends to whom I had recommended this membership as Heena was very good in her follow up.

But Sorry Heena - I dont think this hotel is interested in anything called Brand Image, they just want to make a quick buck & will soon find it difficult to sustain sales & employees too.

Room tip: Not too Happy on first experience.

I have stayed in this hotel for a number of times now. The Royal Plaza hotel's location is very good, the swimming pool is very good, but in the gym only one out of three treadmills work. So you need to wait for long if someone else is already on it. The breakfast was pretty decent.
The bathrooms are clean, but need refurbishing as they look really old. The hotel staff members are nice and friendly. Anusha Yameen, a staff member of the hotel was very nice and helpful. She helped me choose my room and did my checked-in very quickly without any problem.
The rooms have wifi, but it is chargeable.

I arrived in the early hours having just arrived on an international flight. Check-in was handled very quickly and efficiently, exactly how you would want it after a long journey, and I was quickly in my room.

Admittedly the rooms are not enormous, but in a city as expensive as Delhi and where space is at a premium, this was not surprising. They had everything that I needed for a comfortable stay, and I woke refreshed and ready to continue my travels.

The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff were incredibly attentive and helpful.

Sadly there wasn't time, nor was the weather conducive, to using the pool, but hopefully on a future visit.

Good hotel staff is very courteous special Ankit Kaushal who took my c in rooms areally also nice overall I have a great experience thanks to Ankit well done ......location is also a great advantage nice breakfast as well...........................
