We booked this house for long term 6 months. The house was not ready, we had to have it re-cleaned. The refrigerator had to be replaced, the microwave went out, the AC units did not all work, the dishwasher we could never use as the garbage disposal discharges into it. The support staff originally assigned to us was quite incompetent. He kept blaming the owners not wanting to fix anything, although our contract required them to do so. Lots of unnecessary discussions regarding the condition of the house. Electrical and internet issues were constant. There is no breeze ever in the house, it stays quite warm. There are only a few dishes that accompany the inventory. We had to purchase quite a bit. Lastly, the Security Service, this was the only bright point in our stay. They are professional, courteous and competent. Enjoyed just talking to them.
We were impressed with the customer service provided by Roatan Vacation Rentals from the initial booking, to the duration of our stay, to our departure. All staff members were friendly and very efficient. It was a pleasure dropping by the office and any requests were dealt with promptly. Magnolia House is a lovely spot surrounded by palms and large trees keeping the house cool. We appreciated the proximity to the dock with the fantastic snorkeling and would be happy to stay here again.
