Casa Bella is the perfect place to stay if you’re visiting Rovinj. It is a very large two bedroom apartment which has absolutely everything you need. Located right above the green markets and with a really lovely view to the water, it catches the breezes and is so light and airy. Yet at night if you want quiet, simply close the windows and its very peaceful. Everything is a very easy walk from the apartment which is clean and comfortable.
The whole process was seamless, from booking to checkin. I would absolutely recommend Casa Bella.
Zeljka was very easy to deal with and kept in touch with us as we made our way to Rovinj. Her father met us at a restaurant nearby and walked us over to the apartment a few steps away. He was delightful and we liked him so much we asked him out for a coffee the following morning upon our departure. There are a number of windows overlooking the water and the lovely little town below. The air conditioning was perfect for the warm evening and we even did a small laundry when we got there in the in-apartment facilities. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks so much.
We stayed at Casa Bella for more than two months and the care we received from Zeljka and Zeljko, her father, was amazing. We would certainly repeat the excellent reviews below to fully show how we feel.
This review should have been written a long time ago, but here I am now.
I travelled to Rovinj alone and then was joined by husband after 2 days. The apartment is very spacious, clean and the location is wonderful. You can open the window are from the living room and a bedroom and see the azure Adriatic sea. Just below the apart is a fresh market to buy your provisions if you'd like to cook. Its a walk to the apartment since there is no lift but Zelko is so wonderful he helped me with my bags. He sat me down with maps and very patiently told me everything around the area including the recommended restaurants and bakeries and showed me a long term parking which was cheaper than the one I had originally parked in. What a gem !. The entire booking procedure was so seamless. Wish I had stayed longer... but there will be another time Im sure.
Arrival: we're welcomed by Zelko, Zelija's father. He's super hospitable and helpful. He gave us a very detailed briefing about the apartment. He even gave my husband 10 mins walk around the apartment on their way to parking lot.
No visitor's car is allowed in the old town. Zelko bought us a parking ticket during our stay. The parking lot is about 7 mins walk from the apartment.
Location: It's grateful to stay in Casa Belle with reasonable price. It worths more than its rate! First, it's not easy to make reservation for 3 nights stay in a larger apartment for 4 persons with real beds as most apartments required 5 nights min. stay. We travelled with our 70 years old mom whom is not good at walking on slippery cobblestone street. The entrance of Casa Belle is on the easiest walking street in the old town, Vladimir Svalba Street. It's no problem for my mom.
Moreover, we can enjoy the lively and dynamic corner in our stay as the green market is just below the apartment. We bought fresh food every morning during our stay.
Casa Bella is decorated with 70s styled furniture. It has a sense of nostalgia which adds unique atmosphere of our stay, rather than living in a IKEA show room.
Early morning walk around Rovinj old town is highly recommended as all scenic views are within 5 mins walk to Casa Bella. Super convenient!
Service: Thoughtful service! During our stay, the hairdryer was out of order and Zelko immediately brought us a new one. They're so considerate.
We're so lucky to stay in this unique apartment and met Zelko.
