What’s nice about this place is that they tell you where they sourced the pork from. The have Great ribs. (I always ask for extra sauce.) A pork dinner includes two sides. The Sides are ok. You can eat in or take out. It only takes a few minutes to prepare your order.

The ribs were fall apart tender and the 1/2 rack had more meat on it than most places full rack. If you want brisket, you need to come on Wednesday or Saturday. The restaurant is in an old building with wood floors that really add to the character of the place. You will not leave hungry, but you will leave with a smile on your face while rubbing your belly!

Great stop at about the midpoint of the W&OD bicycle trail. Friendly service and good eats at a reasonable price, with outdoor seating to watch the crowds to by. Often (peak times) there is even a bicycle services person around to help. Great for a quick stop or even a refill, but I would not think it the spot for a date (unless you both like to hit the trail). Decent place at a perfect location.

I was a little disappointed about this BBQ after reading their website which states to call ahead for your to-go order to be ready when you get there and then the guy on the phone told me they don't take platter orders over the phone. They should really put that on the website if they are advising to call ahead. I was able to find the place situated across the Ashburn Road from Mediterranean Breeze. The parking lot is not the best layout, but I was able to nab the last spot. I walked in and the order line is like that of a school cafeteria. I ordered my pork platter with mac&cheese and baked beans and grabbed a piece of corn bread. I had to wait in line for a few but quickly paid and made my way home. The pork was on a hamburger bun that soaked up all the moisture from the pork. The pork was a tad dry and the sauce was too runny to do much good in moistening it up. But the pork and sauce both had good flavor. The baked beans were amazing and the mac&cheese was a bit bogged down by cheese product for my taste. The cornbread was also a tad dry and fell apart as you tried to eat it, but it did have pieces of real corn in it. Overall a good BBQ meal.

Huge portions great service. Wish they had fresh brewed tea but can't ask for everything. Parking lot gets full quick and a line out the door. Will be back thanks for a good meal
