Very nice and cordial owners to book with, but disappointed they never introduced themselves or came to our little house to welcome us. The pool was freezing even though we asked if it would be warm enough for a dip in the pool during our stay. (pool not heated). I stayed with my teenage son and husband and the little house was supposed to be large enough for 4 but we found it awkward and uncomfortable for the three of us to sit on the tiny sofa to watch any TV or read and relax. The pull-out bed our son stayed on was very difficult to sleep on, so he slept on the couch without pulling it out after the first night. The drainage was not great around the hill area we stayed in and the heavy rains flooded the place we stayed. It was newly built and there were trees/shrub that was just pushed past where our little house was. It was not a pretty place in our opinion, but could be eventually. Down the road this might be a nice place, but we were not happy with what we spent to stay there. The traffic was also a huge inconvenience if you were heading into Austin city. If you plan to just visit the hill country, it's a decent location with several eateries , craft beer, etc.
