There salsa was interesting, good, but a little different. Asked for seconds so I give it a thumbs up. The main dishes were OK.

I had the Corazon Romano Salad which was a tasty but interesting presentation - several layers of full Romaine lettuce topped by corn, black beans, green pepper, tomato and avocado slices. The ingredients were fresh but it would have been easier to eat if the lettuce had been chopped. They also only had two dressing options - Ranch and Thousand Island. Hubby had a chicken fried steak, cream gravy, mashed potatoes with a carrot/zucchini mix. Bottom of his steak was a bit over-cooked and the potatoes were very salty but, yes, he ate it all. The chips and salsa were made in-house and good. We were here on a slow Wednesday evening so the one waitress/hostess was able to provide good service.

The meal was OK. We asked for Diet Coke with no ice and were given a can of soda. No free refills. Service was extremely slow.

The green salsa was AMAZING! The place is small, but it’s got a great vibe. The waitress was very sweet and gave us some great recommendations. The steak and chicken fajitas was delicious. Local art is displayed around on the walls. I say you should give this place a try.

Cant believe that this isn't the #1 restaurant in Alpine. The food is extremely good. The staff is very accommodating and they explain the recipes! Had the Saturday special and the seasoning was wonderful. Definitely worth it.
