it is clean. front desk staff is helpful and friendly. rooms clean. like the outside seating area in back. will definitely be back! in fact, we are going back again in Oct and dh is staying there for dads weekend. clean and convenient location.
Was coming back home when weather forced a change in plans and ended up in Athens overnight. Having previously stayed a couple other hotels in the area, I was really concerned about my options. Thank goodness there was this Fairfield Inn! It's a pretty new property, so it's clean and updated. Lots of places to eat or restock supplies near by - so the location is pretty good.
Fairfield inn is owned by Marriott so the standards of service are already in place! The difference between this Fairfield inn and others is definitely the management and staff!! Zetta and Jeannie met us when we checked in they were warm and professional reading our father a 102 year old world war 2 veteran and the general manager Daniel made sure that we had everything we needed for his comfort! Great location for traveling, fun restaurants nearby!
The rooms are clean spacious and very comfortable! Highly recommend it!!!
Stayed for two nights on a weekend trip to Athens. Location is convenient, a quick bike ride to uptown or long walk if you don't want to drive.
The hotel was clean. I happened to walk by a room when it was being cleaned and was impressed to see them wiping everything down, including the tv stand that I assume never gets wiped.
They did ask if you want your room cleaned during your stay, I declined. I ordered extra towels on my first night and they were delivered promptly. However, on my last day I ordered extra wash clothes and after waiting for an hour I gave up and showered. They were never delivered before checking out.
I would stay here again, it is clean and comfortable for a couple of nights.
Stayed 2 nights during a Mother’s trip at OU. Justin and Joe were most gracious hosts and upgraded me after a room mix up at check in. Clean facility and helpful staff, even with the entire Eastern Michigan baseball team staying at the inn. A nice facility in Athens and will stay again.
