This house was stunning. It was beautifully laid out and decorated, with ample crockery to allow self catering. The futons were much more comfortable than any others we slept on in Japan. The overwhelming feature was it's position on the river, with a huge cherry blossom tree hanging over the river in front of the house.
Our only suggestion is that the staff at K's Villa leave an explanation as to how to use the bath, as we only realised how to use the bath once we visited other ryokans in Japan after our stay at K's Villa ie that you fill it to start with then leave it on and full for the whole stay.More
