Title says it all. Excellent hotel for the money. Stayed here for the World Cup. Excellent breakfast in the restaurant too. Staff spoke perfect english and were very helpful. Rooms were big. Great location (really couldn't be better). Easy walk to the Kremlin and river.

The hotel was very good. Little but beautiful lobby. The staff were very polite and kind. The room was clean and had a good Facilities. Breakfast was almost fine. The best advantage of the hotel was the hotel's location that provided good access and a beautiful street was located behind the hotel.

This hotel is a great choice to stay in Kazan. The location is absolutely brilliant, very close to other restaurants, bars, souvenir shops and other stuff. The white Kremlin is about 10 minutes walk away. The hotel itself has a good standard, the room was clean. Next time I will choose it again.

This is a great hotel, right in the centre of Baumann St, which is one of the main tourist areas of Kazan. Service was very good. Breakfast, which I have seen criticized in other reviews, was also very good, and there was plenty of everything available. I stayed for 5 nights. I paid under 30 euro per night, which was great value and included breakfast. Room was quiet and clean. WiFi was good. What more do you need?

Stayed here in the beginning of January.

Location is very good, they kinda have two entrances, one from the pedestrian street Baumana, another one from the parallel Profsoyuznaya, which was efficient for both arrival by taxi and being able to enter straight after after the walk in town.

Its a big hotel, occupies several neghbouring buildings from what I could understand. Our room was in the newer part, it literally smelled new in the corridors. Rooms are of a very generous size, plenty of storage space, good bathroom with a shower. Unfortunately walls are very thin, so if you are a light sleeper ask for a room where the garbage truck will not wake you up at 5 in the morning. There was also an unfortunate school group staying near our rooms, so I can tell that the walls are both thin on the inside and outside.

Breakfast was a nightmare, perhaps because hotel was way too busy. Somehow there are many big tables, say 6-seater, at the restaurant where they serve breakfast, so you will probably have to join other people. Its a mystery to me why they've decided to put it this way. We literally had to scroll for at least 5 min to find ourselves a place to sit down. Then food is not a big hit too. Not much was available at 09:30 and whatever refill was brought immediately had people lining for it. Sausages and cheeses looked not very pretty too.

Another glitch was with the reception staff that despite our room was prepaid still asked me (at both check in and check out) to pay it. Had to tell them a few times to check again and that it is paid in advance. Don't know what the problem is, but it sure did not feel very nice.

To sum it all up, I think we'll stay in another hotel if we ever find ourselves in Kazan. But overall its not bad at all, just good to know what to expect.
