Love to stay in this hotel for a quick R&R. Room is clean and we love the pool. Staff are super efficient and was able to checkout in less than 5 minutes, just leave a few minutes before 12nn and it will be hassle free.

Your elevator doesn't seem to function well. There had been problems in the system that it doesn't stop when you press the button of your floor level. Also, the toilet in the room has an awful smell and that there's leaking in the toilet tank. Please check rm 29Q

Sorry to say this, but very disappointing.

Lets start with something good...

1. Hotel Address was great. Walking Distance to Metro Walk. Good city view from our room.
2. Staffs are polite and welcoming.
3. A lot of dinning options at the groud level of the hotel.

And, about my rating:

1. When I arrive, I can't Check In unless i gave a 1000pesos security deposit! The recep, insisted to leave my ID at the Front Office to make sure I pay the amount. Other hotels I went in, they just... "It's fine Sir, Welcome and Enjoy your stay".
2. THE ROOM. Like a MOTEL. HAIRS EVERYWHERE. BED SHEETS, LAUNDRIED, but not CLEAN. Stains EVERYWHERE. The cleaners even hide the Stains under the BED RUNNER. PILLOWS has visible Stain on top of it. To be clear I Think EVERYTHING was changed but CHANGED WITH STAINED LINENS. Yellowish stain on the 1st bed sheet, Hiden Under the Duvet.
3. HAIRS !! I checked in first, around 5pm. I checked the room if its clean. Its my BIRTHDAY Surprise for my partner. After checking, Hairs everywhere. Under the Tables, Chair and Bed. ALSO, a EYELASHES like hair on the bed.

and, NO SLIPPERS? Even motels have disposable slippers, other hotels with the same rate has slippers even its almost like a paper slipper.

INFAIRNESS... after I called the Housekeeping, they Immigiately replaced my bed sheets.

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights for a business trip. The location is very convenient in Ortigas. There is quite a bit within walking distance. It is a nice place to stay for a few days. The staff was very nice during our stay.

Our room was spacious, the bathroom large compared to most hotels. Because we were busy we didn't use the kitchenette but it would be useful if we had time to prepare meals ourselves. At least it give the option should you want it.

The wifi was consistent and adequate for what we needed. There is full cable available although we only used it for a couple of minutes.

There were a few things that could be improved:
1) The breakfast. The hotel does not have their own restaurant so they send guests to a place around the corner called Mario's. It was not good quality and very small choice in food. We had to look twice to see that it was a buffet as only a couple of items were available. The worst was a baby cockroach that came waking across the table as we were eating. Not exactly appetizing. I will always eat the included breakfast at a hotel but this was the one and only time I have chosen to skip it and pay to eat elsewhere.

2) Smell in hallway. We stayed on the 16th floor and it smelled constantly like rotting garbage. My wife and I literally jogged from the elevator to get to the room and held our breath the entire way. I'm not sure what made it so bad and so strong.

3) Elevators. The reason the smell was so noticeable for us was that the elevators took forever to get to the floor, leaving us to stand and engage the awful odor. During all 5 days and 4 nights one of the elevators was closed for maintenance. One other elevator is a service elevator, leaving just one dedicated for guests staying there. It was always a debate, to take the service elevator and stop on almost every single floor, or wait longer in the stench.

All in al our stay was ok and I would check it out again should I need to stay a few days in the Ortigas area. The good outweighs the bad and they offer affordable rates.
