It’s a lovely hotel with modern spacious rooms. Special shout out to Persi and Abegoss for their attentive care whilst dining. Thoughtfully, they went out to get more peppermint tea for my wife. She was very appreciative of that.
Mention must be made too of the wonderful choices of pastries on a buffet night. The Paris Brest was absolutely delicious.
For the swimmers out there, the pool is lovely and cool, 77’/25m long and protected by a shade cover. Empty in the morning for lap swimming; more crowded in the afternoon as you’d expect. Separate splash pool for kids.
Top tip, if you wish to have wine with your evening meal, you can have it in the separate room.
Last point worth mentioning, we had a series of early flights to catch (we had multiple stays with them this trip) and the breakfast to go is decent - savoury filled croissants (vege options was salad, avocado, chilli) , hard boiled eggs, fruit, juice and a little bar of Kit Kat. Of course, if you can do the breakfast proper, then the choices are excellent. For the Europeans, great pastries and quality French bread.
All in all, a lovely hotel, with super friendly staff who are justifiably proud of the ambiance they’ve created.
