Excellent services and forthcoming staff they have. A well-maintained resort and clean. They were able to cater to vegetarian meals at their best. Nevertheless, I would say that the spa experience can be better :).. A lot of walking to do within the resort as it is a Huge place :)

I stayed in Magellan Sutera Kota Kinabalu recently. The hotel lobby area is one of the biggest i have ever see automatically gave me an impression of luxury. The room,bed,pillow and bathroom were very clean. The breakfast and dinner were awesome. The pool also very big and clean. Sunset view from my room was breathtakingly beautiful. I just love almost everything about Magellan Sutera.

We stayed at Magellan Resort for 3 days and 2 nights in September 2022. Such a blissful stay. The room booked was a Deluxe Seaview, but due to unavailability, they upgraded to a Club room. Although I was initially a bit upset as I was unable to get a balcony room, the upgraded room was 👍🏻. Excellent view and location of the room.
Breakfast: a good spread of local and western food.
Staff : Commendable service. Especially the staff at cafes and a special mention to the snorkelling assistant (Mr. Jack)—good gesture of lending the fins for my wife during snorkelling.
Facilities: good and appropriate facilities—bowling, snorkelling, cruise, theatre.
In resort restaurants, we tried food from Tarikk's (my favourite-such a nice view), Al-Fresco, and Deli cafe- overall good👍🏻
The only disadvantage is that there are no subtitles available for movies (in theater).
Overall : A definite ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Resort

Facilities are Excellent, but services and food (breakfast) are far below the hotel's rating standard.
Eg.. it took 20 minutes for check-in despite all relevant booking documents are provided. Called 16-time the front desk to request for an ironing board, 5-time were answered, with no promise of board delivery time, the rest of 15-time calls were left un-answered. I went down personally to the front desk and offer to collect the board by nyself,... that also to no avail... finally, the board was sent to my room abt 40 minutes later. THAT'S TERRIBLE SERVICE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A beautiful resort and the staff are friendly and helpful. I will come back again. For those who have a boat, it is a great place to berth. The water is so clear that you can see the corals and fishes along the quay.
