Worth coming back to KK for! We came back twice and totally loved it. Run, don't walk to this place!

We found this lovely little place close to our hotel. The food was delicious and we ate there a few times. The price is excellent and the staff very friendly. If you get chance give this place a go you won’t regret it

We've been living in Kota Kinabalu for 7 years so it's not our first time in Chili Vanilla but it might be the last.
The quality of the food is decent, overpriced but we know it.
The service in this restaurant is in slippery slope.
The staff who is absolutely clueless could at least be nice and welcoming. The lack of organisation in the kitchen is obvious, as a result the dishes were dispatched randomly to the 4 different tables when were there.
After passing our order, my daughter was served about 2 mn later, my wife had to wait another 25 mn to get the same dish while some clients at the 3 other tables got served. After 40 mn I indicated jokingly to the waiter or waitress, not sure, that I was fully ready for my Turkish salad... Soon understanding that it was not ready yet I decided to cancell my order.
I'm still wondering why this place is so highly rated ahead of so many better restaurants in KK.
Instead of resting on her past laurels, the Lady boss should tighten the bolts of her organisation.

If you need a break from Asian food this restaurant packs a mean punch.

Who would have thought that KK would feature a Hungarian restaurant? But you can also get healthy salads, soups and a hummus dip which don’t have meat.

They also have great juices with no sugar. Amazing for sugar mad Malaysia.

And the gluten free desserts are lovely. The heated chocolate ganache is yum!

Service is quick and efficient if not very friendly.

A very cozy place to eat and menu choice is really delicious. My favourite is the chicken Corde Blue.
