Stayed one night and was disappointed. The whole ambience, quality of staff and food is poor. The quality of breakfast, how it’s lay out and the dining room itself needs serious rethinking, revamping and a total overhaul. My stay reminds me of the so called 4-5* hotels in China which should be rated 2-3 *.
The only saving grace is the room which is clean. However, the air conditioning is knackered! It’s needs servicing as it is running on half steam. Had to remove the duvet as it’s too warm to sleep in one even with the air conditioning on.
The only positive experience was a superb female staff in reception. She was exceptional.
Perhaps management should stay one night incognito in Holiday Inn Express up the road and see how things are done there cause that’s where we are staying now. Superb. Mercury is not a patch on Holiday Inn Express.

The room were well maintained, bed were comfortable and clean, toiletries were well stocks and clean towers.

Check-in were easy with friendly front desk that greets you the moment you arrives as my return flight were early in the morning having to checkout around 4am, the staff offer to call a cab for me to the airport as other transportation apps were no where of getting a driver at this time.

Location is also convenient within walking distance to some main malls and seafood market not mentioning the town centre.

The rooftop pool overlooked the water and had a lovely bar/restaurant for dining . Room was clean, bathroom needed hooks or rail for towels and Breakfast had a good selection. Easy walk to Mall, Seafood and Handicraft Markets. Beds so comfortable ...I want one 😁😁
