I don't know how the past reviewers were impressed, they must have very easily pleasable tastebuds, or the cook was away on our night!
We were in a large group 24, and all were disappointed.

The "soup" consisted of carrot cabbage and cauliflower in hot water with no seasoning.
All dishes lacked flavour.

We went here as a group for our first meal in Sabah. It was authentic Malaysia and delightful. The restaurant offers a wide variety of food choices and is tasty. The staff were very good and it came with an entertaining group of dancers and musicians. Very good option in Kota Kinabalu.

We ate at this restaurant as a group of 24 and the service was very good. Staff were very attentive and we wanted for nothing. The food was bought out and placed in the middle of the table to share so we didnt get a choice in what we wanted to order, but the food that was bought out was varied (beef, chicken, fish, vegetarian) and tasty and there was plenty of it. The dishes were all local dishes which was nice, and the restaurant appeared to be clean and well run.

I had the advantage of eating in a group family style and was able to taste a variety of dishes. The portions are large and the price was reasonable. I would go back as there are so many more dishes to taste. The staff are wonderful Highly recommended.

It was our last day and we entered this restaurant named Sri Melaka. Everything is local about it, the food the ambience, and the decor. The staff is very quiet and courteous.

Food was extremely delicious and colorful and a treat to our eyes! We had many dishes, starting with corn soup. One of us was vegetarian but he had no difficulty. He was provided lip smacking vegetarian food which we also had a share. :)

This restaurant is popular with locals and at times it's difficult to get a table. Visit this for authentic Malaysian food.
