The Grand of the Oldtown White Coffee outlets. The immaculate furnishing and quite environment. The menu is familiar as other outlet with few extra dishes if not mistaken.

I'd recently stayed at the M Roof Hotel and out of convenience had patronised the Old Town Grand Restaurant for dinner and breakfast on the following day.

Dinner was good. I'd ordered the signature Nasi Lemak - rice was fragrant and I like the fried chicken.

Breakfast was a little disappointing. I was first told that breakfast choice was limited as the service staff had assumed that my room rate come with breakfast. It's when I said to the staff that I don't have a breakfast voucher then they showed me the ala carte menu.

I had wanted fruits for breakfast, but fruits were not available in the menu.

I ordered a fried egg but was told the restaurant only serves half boil egg. It was when another group who came after me also requested for a fried egg that the staff then came to me that they can now do a fried egg for me.

The kaya butter toast was good.

The downside was a irritating house fly which circled around me and did not seemed willing to leave. I was too busy waving the house fly away.

Slow in customer servicing, staff a bit off in the morning, and food preparation is really slow for breakfast, meals are just so-so !
