The Tour was advertised in our hotel with the brochures all over the place and it was arranged by the hotel also. Since we were staying by the American Village, the meeting place was by the Tourist Center. You won't miss it as it's right beside the main Starbucks right across the American Village. There's quite a few tour buses in there so make sure you know which one is yours. It will be a blue bus that says Jumbo Tours on it. It cost 6,000 yen PP from Mihana, I believe it cost a bit more from Naha and these are the only points of pick up. Once inside the bus, they were pretty much organized from handing the tour itinerary to the audio-headsets system. There's always a driver and a tour guide who would explain everything in Japanese, Chinese and English. The view on the way was amazing. Somehow, it sort of reminded us of Oahu. The Tour brings you First to Kouri Island, then the Aquarium and Expo Park, and lastly to the underwater observatory. Marine Life is what this tour is all about. This is a whole day affair. You are on your own with lunch however. Expo Park has tons of food places including a restaurant overlooking the Kuroshio Sea ( the main tank of Churaumi ). Make sure to pack a poncho or an umbrella when you happen to take the Tour in the rainy season. Though it could be 90 degrees weather, sporadic torrential rains happens. Our tour had that experience. Also, make sure you wear comfortable shoes. There's a lot of walking. The only down side is that there are no arranged seats. It's on a first come first serve basis so if you are a group or a couple, you might end up seating separately. It was an interesting tour nonetheless. Kuroshio Sea is a must to see! You
