Lots of noise from train station & from hotel elevator

2.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 29 Jun 2019
Convenient location inside Kanazawa station & nice room. I found it far too noisy though. I had a room next to the elevator and even when wearing earplugs, I could still hear the elevator dinging. The train station music can be heard clearly inside the room too. The noise was such a shame, even with earplugs it was difficult to sleep.

We stayed three nights here during a recent visit in Kanazawa. We chose the property largely based on location because it was convenient for trains and buses (it is inside Kanazwa Station) and also within walking distance of many of the attractions in the city. The room was average in size for a typical Japanese hotel room (small by western standards) and had the expected amenities. The wif-fi worked well and everything was very clean. I would recommend this property based on its location and reasonable service and price.

I didn’t understand from the map that it’s in the station so I looked for it outside. But it’s right at the exit of the gates, very comfortable to travel. And just outside the station you find the bus taking you to the sights, you can buy a 24h pass for 500 yen at the tourist office. The lobby is on the third floor, the staff is kind in spite of speaking very basic English. The room was small, like everywhere in Japan, but clean and quiet. The pillow was very hard, I had to sleep without it. The bathroom is small but new and clean. No shower cap, no hair dryer. Breakfast is at a bar of the station, not special. WiFi is good.

Hotel was literally in Kanazawa station which is very convenient for people who want to take the bus to their destination. Didnt have to travel far for the shinkansen as well when the day came for us to check out.

Hotel rooms were a little small but made it work. The room per night might have been a little bit too much for what it is but splitting the cost with your partner makes it a whole lot easier and you are pretty much paying for the convenience of being close to the train station.

This hotel is in the best location, right in the station its self, the room was comfortable and with good amenities. The loop bus for sightseeing was just outside the station and there were plenty of restaurants on the station complex.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Hotel gave me a room on high floor with an amazing view of the city. Room was clean and comfortable but very small even though I've booked a semi double room B. I had some problems with my 2 26 inch luggage. So if you have more than 2 larger than a 26 inch luggage, do not chose this room size.

For ladies, note that the hotel do not provide shower cap. Collect your bath cloth, cotton pads/buds, tea/coffee/sugar/creamer at the lobby.

No 2nd pillows provided in room.

I regretted buying their breakfast plan. Breakfast voucher is only used at the ground level lobby at a cafe across the train concourse from the hotel. It's a toast or waffle set with tea/coffee. If you are staying more than 2 days, I suggest having your breakfast at a boulangerie next to this cafe which opens at 7am or other cafes on the other levels which usually open at around 10 am.

The best part of this hotel is it is convenient, right inside the train station. If you are exiting from a Shinkansen or Express train station, turn left after the fare-gate, walk a few meters and you'll see the hotel sliding door on the right corner.
