Well where to start; the area compared to Mui ne is much more relaxed and undeveloped. The Pegasus resort was a stab in the dark that pays off: very clean, great pool by the beach and in each 2 bed villa a private pool. Staff really try though English basic but the effort to please fills the gaps. Special thanks to Sin and thong. It is remotes so bring along snacks and drinks. But there is also a free shuttle bus to Phan Thiet.

The hotel is located in Ke Ga which is around 30-40 minutes drive from Phan Thiet and 5-6 hours drive from Ho Chi Minh. It's a very quiet place with nice beaches but if you prefer wild nightlife, active tourist zone etc, this place is definitely not for you as you might be bored.
We booked private villa with a swimming pool which was spacious and clean, however there's some difference between web photos and reality. Villa needed some renovation in fact. Housekeeping was done daily and good quality, bathrobe, slippers, water, amenities - everything was ok. In case of some issues staff helped immediately. The only issue was language barrier as only few staff members speak English. There's a kitchen in the villa so it's convenient if you'd like to cook yourself (supermarket COOP located in Phan Thiet, free shuttle bus goes few times a day). However you have to pay around 15 euro for this option. Free WI FI worked well in our villa and public areas.
Breakfast was rather average as I was missing European food there (no yoghurts, cheese, limited choice of bread). You could get a lot of Vietnamese hot dishes though and local fruits.
Otherwise a la carte restaurant is ok quality, the food tasty and prices reasonable.
The beach was cleaned daily but there were always strong waves which brought tons of trash every morning..
There was one tennis court in pretty good condition and we played free of charge which was nice.
Overall recommended for quiet family vacation.

Room tip: Definitely recommend villa with private pool or bungalow with ocean view

To start with the positive side of this resort. Nice location on the beach which has greats waves. However the surroundings is a wasteland and quite dirty. A Lot of garbage on the beach (except just below the resort).
We stayed four nights in a pool villa, this was ok but almost no hot water.
The breakfast is not very good; the juice is warm, almost no fresh fruit and very often they run out of things. Very often to many guests in relation to available seats (when it is raining).
The menu for lunch and dinner looks okay, but also here we tried to order things that they actually didnt have.
Pool area okay but soon in need of an improvement.
No reception staff 24/7 but you can call an internal number if you need assistance.
General: the place is underinvested, a lot of things that do not work or havent been replaced.
Several resorts close to Pegasus have closed down and it seems like this region south of Phan Thiet are having problems competing with Mui Ne.
