Went there for a week holiday with a group of 8 people, everything was fine. Rooms are great with good view of the beach, the wifi available but the speed was quite poor, toilet convenience, staff are ok, food from the restaurant is great, not too far from the town centre as we travelled by taxi.

Room Tip: Take those on the 2nd floor main building or those on the left.

We arrived at this 'establishment' straight from the hospital. My friend had been involved in a motorbike accident and had broken his nose and damaged his eye, jaw, knees and hip.

We decided that, considering this event, no expense would be spared and we'd book in to as good a hotel as we could possibly afford.

Firstly we were informed that, despite the astronomical prices, that we couldn't visit the room until we had given them our passports. We informed them we were moving from another place to this one and the passports would be minutes away but they refused my injured friend somewhere to lie down.

Another friend left to retrieve the passports and we waited before being greeted by a phone call from the manager who I can only describe as one of the most heartless humann beings going. They had decided because my friend 'had an issue with his health' that they had decided to refuse us to be allowed in to their hotel. Refused a shaken, terrified paying customer because he was injured.

This could be the best resort in Mui Ne, Vietnam or even Asia, I really wouldn't care. I wouldn't give them the pickings of my nose. I've been traveling for years but this is one of the most disgraceful things I've ever seen.

I don't care about the Hotel, the location or the rooms - don't stay here. Find someone who deserves your custom, someone who does anything for the customer, especially in that condition.

Dear Symojt
We are terribly sorry for something happened that made you unsatisfied.
According to VietNam Immigration regulations, the foreigners who want to book a room in a hotel/resort has to issue their passport at arrival. In this case, you could not show us all your passports. Besides, at the first look, we found that one of your friend was in injury so that he must be taken to the hospital immediately. Frankly, this matter was really complicated and we needed time and guidance from the Government Officers for solving while you asked to take the room soon. Moreover, it is very important to follow the right lawful immigration declaration for foreigners.
We are very sorry that we could not find the better solutions to get your satisfaction. All we know that looking for and welcoming a new guest is difficult in the crisis moment. When the problem happened, that meant you will not trust us or even you will not try to experience our services but we always wish to welcoming you back and serving you at our Resort on your next holiday.
One more time, we apologized and we hope for sympathy and understanding.
Sincerely yours.

Tien Dat is a good hotel for this money! Pluses are: big room, swimming pool, perfect location, close to the seafood market, cafes, bars, shops. Wifi works good as well. Small minus is an old shower cabin.

Only we could pick the wrong time to holiday in Vietnam, holiday time.Looking forward to a quite time in Muine, not so,due to a dental appointment in HCMC couldn't give right times for our 7days at Tiendat Resort. The staff made arrangement to fit us in anyway(good job)We had a wonderful 7 days at Tiendat again,as usual too much food and drink. We were given 2 rooms, the first room 108 next to the pool, then upgraded to room 229 first floor, pool and beach view. Both rooms are good. The Tiendat Resort restaurant is across the street(very nice layout)and the buffet breakfast and lunch are excellent.I started every meal with fresh Vietnamese Pho or some other noodle soup that is prepared fresh in front of you,it is located near the breakfast egg mans table. We got the bus from HCMC a sleeper bus,get the lower bunks because getting into the higher ones requires a bit of effort if you are getting older like me,A great holiday at Tiendat Resort will be doing again

Room Tip: Any room around the pool

Stayed for a night and had a great time. The resort is split in two, one beachside and the other up a small hill across the street. Each side was like its own resort with its own bar and pool, and both were equally beautiful, though only hillside has a swim-up bar. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the chairs outside each room was a nice touch. Buffet at the restaurant was good. Resort only posted its Vietnamese name "Tien Dat" outside the resort and not "blue waves", so look carefully if looking on your own. Resort also had a children's center and a spa, which I did not check out.

Beach is not suitable for small children, as this time of year the waves are rough and reached the resort's sea wall, which could spell tragedy for smaller swimmer. Best stick to the main beaches of Mui Ne or Phan Thiet if you want your children to swim. I did not let mine go in the water. Due to the tiny beach, did not see anybody launch their kite surfboards from the resort, though I did see some within sight. Location is good, as it is located right in the resort hub of Ham Tien, with bars, restaurants and souvenirs aplenty. No other section of Ham Tien I see was more active than this location. The place is mostly, if not all, Russians. At around $50 USD, this was a great deal.

The only negative I can think of would be that the jacuzzis are not hot, it is merely the same temperature as the pool, only with jets. It can get chilly here at night, and lounging in a heated jacuzzi would have been heavenly. The bars also close earlier than the pool does, so don't expect a poolside drink later in the evening.

Room Tip: Rooms on the 5th floor of the hillside resort has a view that I think is even better the beachside. Get one if you can.
