well I don't know why this placeb is kind-of "famous", this looks all about the kind of "reviews -phenomena" built stuff. A normal simple eating spot like so many in Danang, yet with a signature that the dishes displayed are way bigger than the amount which actually arrives you to the table - tryed 4 random dishes, all the same story so can tel, for sure that's their method: put in the menu a photo , write down an attractive price while actually selling you a HALF-PORTION amount , which it definitely IS, compared to other much more generous same level restaurants.
But let's talk about the beknown "squid in stone"... of which the pot was basically full with 80% hot stones where just some tiny squid slices were thrown over to steam, irrigated with plain water to not get too dry - & that's all folks, the "famous squid in stone! No any sauces, nothing. Just plain fresh watered squid. And so few that eventually made it difficult to fish out the small cut pieces among the big stones.(almost wanted to taste those(?))(kindly forgive my humour)
Noodles with beef - please do not take those. You will get delivered a pack of mere instant noodles with not so soft completely plain beef pieces & some chewy greens. No any spices, nothing.
Other 2 dishes,.. wahh, okay I stop "complaining", as basically this restaurant hasn't done to me nothing bad, but yes also those remaining 2 were pretty average in taste and very FEW as amount on the plate. Regular half-portions.
To me it just leaves one doubt more how much we should really trust the reviews...(?)
how deeply, and how much personally are related to a restaurant, the people who write the reviews?
that's simply a matter we will never know indeed.
