Pho 29 has a few stores around the city center, quite popular choice amongst tourists as it is quite clean and they have English menu, most importantly, they are open through lunch (note how many street stalls are closed between 11:30 to 2:00).

Many Chinese travel blogger had recommended to try their beef pho (traditional). And I really enjoyed the tenderness of the meat, and clear yet tasty broth! A quick meal in between attractions when in city center!

There are plenty of beter restaurants - and pho! - in Da Nang. Everything was really bland and cleanliness left much to be desired. The owner would not stop commenting on how good my friend and I looked with a pervy look stitched on his face... so yeah don't go !

2 bowls of pho, 1 stir fried rice noodles and a can of Larue beer was 155,000 dong
The pho was average, I was disappointed that I've had better in Sydney
Owner was friendly, he even offered me a shot of his home brew Vietnamese soju

Tried a few pho in Da Nang but street pho like this one is always the best.
MY ADVICE is to always try the soup first and you know if they pay some effort to prepare the food.
As for pho 29 I think it’s very good — the soup is clear but you can tell they spent hours preparing the soup.
A few cafe nearby so you could spend a whole afternoon in the neighbourhood.

I am a great fan of Pho noodle ... This place is pretty disappointing. I ordered a bowl of Pho Tai (rare beef) and though the soup looks clear, it virtually has no taste.

The price is 40K. And there were not many people around. I think better go and try some other places.
