Micah and Kim are incredibly gracious hosts. This place is rustic but very charming and literally a two minute walk to the beach. I can’t imagine anybody not liking this place, unless they were super high maintenance or resigned to a life of complaining. Would definitely stay here again in a heart beat.

The rooms are super tiny and there is absolutely no privacy, since the walls do not reach the ceiling. Which would be fine, except that with this price (or less) you could stay in your own private room, bungalow or even a private bamboo hat, with the same community feeling of a home stay but with privacy when you want it.

After staying previously in the city we found the quietness of An bang beach lovely. The Hippie house is tucked away down an alleyway which can be tricky to find (the path is opposite the green laundry). The Hippie house is opposite the Early Bird cafe and hostel also run by the owners.

Both Michael and Kim who own the Hippie house are very lovely and accommodating, the have a very laid back vibe and will help you with anything you need.

The Hippie house itself has a very back to nature feel. The main rooms are covered with positive affirmations and drawings.

The hostels are located amongst the houses of the locals who were all very friendly and welcoming. There is definitely a sense of community in the area.

There are excellent restaurants and bars nearby.

We are having a great time at the Hippie House! Still there! Ha. Michael and Kim are really friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere, cool people, super close to the beach and everything we need at our finger tips (food, drink, scooter/ motorbike rental, kitchen to cook yourself, and nice rooms & ammenities)... definitely recommend!! :) also, i added a little picture of a relaxing breakfast in the hammock (Vegemite on Bahn Mi :P) stay sweet. Me and my sister planned to stay for 2 nights, but felt so comfortable and home that we didn't want to leave - so in the end we stayed 9.
We rented one of the bungalows right next to the hippie house.

First of all Micha and Kim are the loveliest hosts. They make literally everything possible for their guests.
To just name a few: You can let make your laundry there or rent a scooter which will be brought to the hippie house within a few minutes...

We also really enjoyed the atmosphere since you're living in this small village right next to the Vietnamese neighborhood. And you're meeting people around, if you like. We had a really lovely community and had a few times dinner and drinks in the evening.

The walk to the beach is nice and really short (3 minutes?!). The beach itself is not the most beautiful I've ever seen, but it's nice and mostly quiet since most tourists are staying more at the center. So if you need more action you just walk down the beach for a few minutes.

They're a lot of restaurants and everything you need nearby. And if not, Micha and Kim will sure help you out.
It's also very easy to get to Hoi An by scooter or cab (around 10 minutes) and we also saw many people riding bikes. But I mean it had around a million degrees. So we preferred the scooter.

All in all I only can recommend this place! Stay here when you're in Hoi An area.
