I've been visiting Hoian yearly for the past 19 years. Taun is by far my favourite restaurant. I'm a fussy eater, however the food here is simply amazing. The chicken and cashew nut dish is unbelievable, although they provide an extensive menu, I must admit, I've had the chicken and cashew on consecutive nights much to the amusement of host Vicky. Vicky is a gem, always cheerful, upbeat and very helpful.
The restaurant is in a quieter part of Hoian, so relative peace is assured. There is a fantastic ambiance about the restaurant and is a favourite with families, romantic couples and solo travellers.
I highly recommend this restaurant.......can't wait to return.

Great food as usual! We always bring visiting friends to this lovely restaurant. Broad variety of food and drink choices and very friendly staff.

Our very first meal in Hoi An and oh my god we had the best Cao Lau (local noodle and pork dish of Hoi An). The service was amazing and the setting has a lovely local friendly feel to it. We will definitely be back :)
