This was a proper boutique hotel, rather than one of the many that just call themselves boutique but do nothing to merit the word.
The rooms are spotless and very nicely decorated. They have been well thought out and have attractive and thoughtful touches.
The breakfast was simply superb. We are regular visitors to Turkey and this was one of the best. The staff are attentive and helpful and don't let an almost total lack of English in any way lessen their customer service.
Ildiri is a very pleasant stop for a night or so and this accomodation makes the experience delightful. Well worth stopping here. Recommended.

Room tip: Rooms were all beautiful but varied in size. Ask to see what they have available on arrival.

This is a modest bed and breakfast with good service and food. The views are very nice. The historcial city of Erythrai is walking distance. Great fish restaurants at affordable prices. You buy your fish at the fish market and most restaurant cook it for you.

Room tip: They ahve only one room with a view. We were lucky to get that room. The other rooms are OK but no view.

We stayed at the Herakles Butik Otel in June 2012 for 3 nights. This is a very unique hotel. The rooms are nicely decorated & clean. It is family owned and operated and you feel at home. The owner and her daughter and the staff are very kind, friendly, courteous, & caring. The location is a little far from the city, but it is in a great location overlooking the Aegan sea. The hotel has a restaurant next door that serves delicious food. The breakfast is excellent and very tasty. Traveling with two teenage girls who enjoyed this hotel and the area so much. My 14 years old daughter insisted we go to this hotel after she googled it and found that Turkish Actress Beren Saat filmed her famous fatmagülün suçu ne at this hotel. We stayed in the same sea view room that Fatma filmed in. The town was very nice, quiet and very interesting. You can drive to Cesme marina or Alacati to shop or swim or just spend the day. The hotel is about an hour & a half drive from Izmir airport. It is worth the drive. We loved this hotel & would love to visit again.
