“What a wonderful, wonderful holiday villa”
Reviewed 10 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

As with others who have left a review, I cannot praise this villa (or it's owner Costa) enough.

Both before and after booking, Costa was amazingly helpful in providing information and advice about the villa and what to do in, and around Kas. Communication was excellent throughout and Costa very kindly arranged a car hire for us to be delivered to the villa and airport transfer (very reasonably priced and I'd highly recommend that any visitors take up this offer!). Costa also provided lots of detailed information on where to go, eat etc.and offered to arrange for someone to meet us from the property management company (Phil) to meet us the following day after arrival to discuss potential activities during our stay. Phil was similarly helpful, and didn't even attempt to push any excursions on us - in fact he provided advice on how to save on some by using other companies and boat trips by visiting the harbour in Kas the night before as cheaper deals could be struck if boats had availability the next day.

The villa was really comfortable, spacious and clean. All amenities worked and the air conditioning was really effective at creating a cool environment - needed given the heatwave while we were there took temperatures to nearly 40C. When we arrived there was a welcome pack containing essentials like bread, tea, coffee, a 25 litre water dispenser, jams etc, - really nice touch given that we arrived at 10.30pm. The following morning Ramazan arrived to clean the pool and check that we were okay - something he did every day. He's a nice chap and was very helpful throughout our stay.

The star of the show was the pool and terrace area. WOW.... what an utterly, utterly breathtaking view. The mountains, coast, sea and islands offshore are astonishingly beautiful, whether first thing in the morning or during sunset. At multiple times throughout the holiday, we found ourselves having 'love my life' moments simply from sitting at the table outside, or gazing out over the edge of the infinity pool. It's genuinely something that the pictures don't do justice to and something I'll remember for a very long time, including rainy days in the office in London (just like today!).

With regards to Boat Trips - I have to give a mention to 'Captain Ali - aka 'Captain Garlic' of the Batin 2 (see tripadvisor) - we spent 2 wonderful days on his boat during our fortnight stay and had an amazing time. Really nice guy, helpful (speaks good English - which helped), reasonably priced and wonderful islands visited and amazing food (I had fish & mezze for lunch, turkish tea in the afternoon and fresh fruit early evening). Do look him up if you're thinking of a boat trip - you can't do better in Kas.

All in all, Costa's villa is a great base for a holiday in the Kas area and at a very reasonable rate, particularly considering what you get. As a place, Kas is strikingly beautiful and while not as 'touristy' as other resorts in Turkey, that's a really good thing in our eyes. Kas is very multi-cultural and had a lot of tourists and activities to do, but still retains it's inherent beauty, character and charm. The shops and restaurants were good, with a wide choice of local or international goods and cuisine. The locals are really friendly and helpful - we were made to feel very welcome wherever we went.

Thank you Costa for all your help, and allowing us to stay in your beautiful villa for what has been such a wonderful family holiday.

“A wonderful villa”
Reviewed 22 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

I cannot praise this villa enough. It was clean, spacious and had amazing views.

The owner Costa was very helpful in arranging transfers etc before we arrived. He even arranged for ground coffee to be delivered for when we arrived. Ramazan was also very helpful on site and delivered fresh bread to us daily.

A real home from home.

“September trip”
Reviewed 11 October 2014 for a stay in September 2014

My husband and I stayed here last month, and thoroughly enjoyed the vill and the town of Kas!
The villa was everything the ad described. Costa, the owner, was very gracious and helpful
in booking the villa. Ramazan, the gardener extrordinaire, was delightful and left fresh bread
for us each day. The views are spectacular, and the villa was equipped with everything we
needed. We wholeheartedly endorse Villa Xanthos!
