My partner and I stayed in Villa Margarita in September and what a fabulous place it is!
There is so much outside space that whether you want to soak up the rays or keep cool in the shade there is a choice of places to comfortably chill out.
The pool is a great size with plenty of room for messing about or having a decent swim. The shallow end is particularly good for sitting on the side and cooling your feet!
The views are to die for (see picture) and it is so quiet and peaceful being a little way from the town, yet near enough for an easy walk into it.
Inside, the villa is ultra modern. It's nicely furnished and the beds are really comfortable.
The owner was incredibly helpful and then Ali looked after us so well when we were there, arranging trips and even a takeaway lunch to be delivered to us when we couldn't be bothered to go out.
We hope to return again next year.
We stayed in villa margarita in July as it’s first paying customers I believe, what an honour it was. The villa is finished to an exceptionally high standard and has everything you need for a fab holiday. I myself loved the pool, such a treat to be able to swim proper lengths and have a nice shallow area to just chill and cool down.
The bed was super comfy I slept like a log. Lots of different areas to relax in, shade or sun so everyone can be happy. Every morning I’d sit on the balcony watching Kalkan come to life while having a morning cuppa. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, go on spoil yourself you really won’t regret staying in this beautiful villa
We love Kalkan and after staying very close to the old town last year, with no views we thought we'd upgrade our experience and happened upon the brand new Villa Margarita! We were lucky enough to be only the 5th set of guests to stay at this modern, spacious, beautifully chic, and well equipped luxury villa. The whole experience from initial booking through to reluctantly leaving at the end of our stay was hassle free with the owners organising transfers for us and a care package with a few essentials - eggs, bread, coffee, milk, butter, jam - upon arrival to get your holiday started with a bleary eyed breakfast (we arrived in the dark at 4am). When we emerged from our slumber the breathtaking view, beautifully kept outside space, and sizeable pool were just what we needed and we settled into the slowlane of our holiday.
The villa is mere a 10-15 minute walk downhill into the main old town where you'll probably find yourselves of an evening sampling the delights of the myriad bars and restaurants to suit all palettes. You'll probably need a taxi to get you home after a good feed and a few cocktails, but that's around £2, so well worth it. Finish off your evenings on the top floor balcony with panoramic views over the bay as you enjoy a nightcap.
The owners also have great contacts who can organise daytrips, boat trips and more. Communication was hassle free and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts or their local agents. We are already planning for next year and making Villa Margarita our base - if there are any dates left! Fingers crossed x
What a fantastic villa. Perfect spot with such an amazing view you never tire of. Distance to the town is 10 minutes walking or 5 mins in a taxi. Everything inside the villa is so luxurious and kitted out so well. Defintely recommend this villa for all ages.
