We stayed at the Avista Hideaway in July 2017 for 16 nights and July 2016 for 2 weeks. We absolutely look this resort. The ladies and gents at reception are so helpful and professional and constantly seem to be smiling. Nothing is ever a problem for them. The staff in the Rendezvous Bar, in particular Patrick were just amazing. Patrick was so attentive and friendly. We asked him about a chilli dip that we had the year before. He didn't have it that night, but when we came back the next night he took our drink orders and returned with crackers and the dip . A small detail but excellent service. Sunny in the poolside bar is just the nicest guy. Again always smiling and happy and ready to chat and he makes the best cocktails. The rooms were fab, spacious and everything you needed. Thank you to the cleaning staff also who in such hot weather and multiple rooms did a great job everyday. Down the town in Patong is busy and hectic and fun then it is so nice to get back to the resort and chill out and relax by one of the three pools with a cool drink. Breakfast EVERY morning was too class. So much selection, a few changes every morning was nice too. If you couldn't find something you liked then I am not sure anything could please you.
